The problem I focused on for this project was the often excessive power cords involved in a basic computer desk setup. These cords can create both a trip and fire hazard if placed incorrectly. My solution was to create a desk with all of the components of a generic desk setup built inside the desk, thus reducing the number of cords needed and storing them in a safe area. I used Autodesk Inventor to digitally 3D model the design and then 3D printed a prototype.
