For my design I have chosen to create a plaster mold of a superhero that kids can paint, the process of making this included research of superheroes on ThingyVerse to 3d print and then vacuum form the print to make the mold to then fill in with plaster.
I created multiple 3D prints to test out what would work with the Vacuum Former. Some designs, for example a spider man figure was too small and too detailed to work in the vacuum former, so I had to create something bigger.
Sadly, when I created this improved product, it got stuck into the Vacuum Former sheet, so I decided I need something simpler. The whole point of this product making is to solve a problem with kids that spoilt and spend too much time on the internet and devices rather than activities involving more hands-on stuff.
