This project required that I design and engineer an assistive device for a client who has Parkinson’s Disease.
The purpose of the device was to make a specific task easier for my client. I chose to focus on travel because people who have Parkinson’s Disease can’t drive, so I made an electric bike that they can safely ride.
I designed it first using CAD software, then I 3d printed my design to make the final model. I then added a battery to make the wheels spin.
