Maths Week Treasures
Palmerston Campus Year 2 students greatly enjoyed Maths Week and the many learning experiences. They learnt about location and directional language.
To test their knowledge, they buried treasure around the school and wrote directions for their friends to follow and find their treasure chest. Walking forwards, backwards, north, south, east and west; everybody marched around the school until they found their treasure. (All boxes were found. Yay!)
They made their treasure boxes from a net - rectangular prism and each box contained a lolly. What a fabulous Maths Week activity. Well done everyone.
