Air Forces 'Pitching' to Palmerston Campus Students
Palmerston Campus students were very fortunate to receive a special visit from Squadron Leader Lindsay Patterson, Sarah - Security Officer from the Australian Air Force and Keira a Public Relations Officer from the New Zealand Air Force. They spent time informing students about 'Exercise Pitch Black'.
Pitch Black is the Royal Australian Air Force鈥檚 most significant International Engagement activity with forces participating from a wide range of partner and allied nations developing and enhancing military relationships at all levels.
Squadron Leader Patterson was extremely impressed with our students and enjoyed answering their very interesting and funny questions. We discovered that 15 countries will be participating in the exercise. Around 2500 personnel will be attending with up to 100 aircraft from around the globe.
